Work With Kim
Coaching · Consulting · Directing
You already know how to perform.
Let's make sure the room knows it too.
Kim works with performers, directors, and producers at every stage of their career. She's been on both sides of the table her entire professional life — as a performer, a casting director, a director, and a coach — and that informs everything about how she works.
She's also a Casting Director with a broadcast quality home studio — which means VO coaching sessions happen in actual professional recording conditions, not a makeshift setup.
This isn't about fixing what's broken. It's about getting out of your own way and trusting what's already there.
AUDITION COACHING
You've done the work. You know the material. But something isn't landing the way it should in the room — or on the self-tape, or behind the mic.
Kim works with actors on:
Film and theatre auditions
Self-tape strategy and setup
Cold reads and sides
Slate and first impression
Taking direction and adjusting in the room
She will tell you the truth about what the room is seeing.
She will not crush you in the process.
Those two things are not mutually exclusive.
Available as single sessions or ongoing work.
VOICE OVER COACHING
VO is having a moment — and the bar has never been higher. Producers want your real voice, not your broadcast voice. They want presence, specificity, and the ability to take direction and run with it.
Kim has spent years casting VO and sitting in the booth with directors at Pixar, Netflix, and beyond. She knows exactly what gets you cast and what gets you passed over.
Kim works with VO artists on:
Audition technique and self-direction
Mic presence and performance
Cold copy and character work
Reel feedback and strategy
Navigating the industry as a working VO artist
Available as single sessions or ongoing work.
CAREER CONSULTING
For performers who need the bigger picture conversation.
Where are you? Where do you want to be? What's actually standing in the way?
Kim has built her own multigenre career across theatre, voice over, film, and casting — she knows how nonlinear this industry is and how to work it anyway. She's not going to tell you what you want to hear. She's going to tell you what's useful.
Kim works with performers on:
Career trajectory and goal setting
Building a sustainable working life as a performer
Transitioning between mediums — theatre to VO, stage to screen
Navigating the industry as an emerging or mid-career professional
What your materials are saying about you and what they should be saying
Available as single sessions or as an ongoing engagement.
DIRECTOR SUPPORT & COACHING
Kim specializes in bridging the gap between what a director wants and what a performer hears — without stepping on anyone's toes.
If you're a director who struggles to communicate with performers, gets inconsistent results in the audition room, or wants a trusted collaborator in the booth or rehearsal room — this is for you.
Kim works with directors on:
How to talk to performers — language, specificity, and clarity
Running auditions that get you options
In-booth and on-set support
Translating your creative vision into actionable direction
Available per project or as ongoing support.
PRODUCTION CONSULTING
For producers who are new to the casting process or want to do it better.
Kim consults with production companies, independent producers, and studios on:
What to expect from the casting process start to finish
How to build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive casting environment
Child actor compliance and best practices
Budget planning for casting
How to work with a Casting Director effectively
Available per project.
